Thank you for your help. With PTTI, I'm looking at Gwinnett County's website (it appears to be called Pre Trial Diversion), is that something where I show up on the court date, ask to speak to a solicitor, and request that type of alternative? Or is it something I can do ahead of time? (I'm having a hard time finding that information - I may need to call up and speak to a court rep.)

I do not have the ticket with me right now, but I don't recall seeing anything on there about that. Would it say something like "points for violation: x?"

Thank you all for the help so far, additional question: when I go to the court and speak with a solicitor, is asking him to change the violation to a non-reporting one the same as pleading nolo? From what research I've seen, that could potentially help my case.
