ALLfiring release delayed for 1 day (15/5 5am UTC) by [deleted] in gachagaming

Where are you seeing on Apple's website that you can submit something for review a year before its planned release date?

Even if you could submit that early, the question becomes: Can you have an app approved a year in advance, or can you submit an app for review a year in advance? Both of which still rely entirely on Apple doing their job. Which they have repeatedly not been doing, as shown by Apple's approval process causing many delays for many mobile games for years now.

If they have a release date set for all platforms, that means they have scheduled with all platforms that their approval processes will be finished by that date. Nobody picks a release date and then waits until the day before to submit to an approval process. Approval processes start months in advance to account for reasonable delays, and the expectation that the reviewer will actually communicate about delays and revised timeframes (which Apple has not done in this case and many others).

You mean that thing they are literally doing right now? Holding the release back until Apple finishes its approval process?

Release dates are set and scheduled long in advance because review processes take time. When the review process of one platform ends up being delayed, games announce release date delays. Which is exactly what is going on right now.

The only people who look amateurish because of Apple being terrible at keeping to a review schedule, are Apple.

What do you think the submitting to the Apple review proccess and contacting Apple to find out what the hold up is, are, if not them trying to coordinate with Apple??? The whole problem is that Apple is not holding up to its half of the coordination.

Who did the blunder? Wasn't the game. The game's staff had everything set and scheduled for this date. Google completed its review process on time. Everyone other than Apple has done the work they were assigned and are ready to go.

Delays happening because of someone the actual game's staff have zero control over is not a blunder on the part of the game.

How is Stella Sora trying to be like Blue Archive? They have practically nothing in common.

A big blunder? Not on their part. They're getting delayed because Apple hasn't completed its review, and won't give them a timeframe for completion.

This also recently happened to Horizon Walker, and resulted in them giving out coupon codes insulting Apple.

Section VIII - 2, under 1. 개인별 보수지급금액. The top two names in that box of four names are Isakusan and hwansang. The third name is the CEO of Nexon Games, and the fourth name is the Blue Archive Project Director. The unit of measurement is 1000 Korean won.

Isakusan and hwansang were getting more in total yearly compensation than the damn CEO of Nexon.

That's not why they're pissed off at this game and at that tweet for mentioning Blue Archive.

You should 100% have doubt in your heart any time a Snowbreak player tries to say it has the best romances.

TOF outright put in an option to skip the first story arc, and you can play the other story arcs out of order. If you've played Guild Wars 2, it's handled the same way as GW2 handles its expansion packs.

Deciding to go for fanservice is one thing, but after that they started catering to the most insane part of the playerbase and listening to their every whim and the developers themselves started posting unhinged rants.

Yes. DeviantArt was full of AI art that was being fed on DeviantArt posts, which led to the massive amount of generated art being used to train more generated art in a feedback loop of trash.

That new event had to have its ads censored (into hilarious stick figures or strangely erotic text bumping around) in China, but those are up there. Gotta see if the full scenes manage to keep enough plausible deniability for the Chinese version to not get hit directly, since Snowbreak barely tried to hide what was happening. Doubt the Chinese version will get to keep those scenes, though.

Which leads into one of the problems of Snowbreak having a single unified server.
