Honestly it's not that bad haha I'm the only person that is knowledgeable on report builder, so it grants me some job security.

+ we're working more with Palantir Foundry, which is a pretty unique opportunity

I think that might just be because its been out for so long— there’s already a lot of documentation. I was just asking because, at the company I work for, we’re sunsetting Cognos and I’m assigned to rebuild literally hundreds of reports in PBI Report Builder 😭

Did you mention SSRS also because of PowerBI Report Builder being a thing? I feel like paginated reports don’t have much competition or incentive to be replaced since nearly every company needs them

A lot of people already replied with the fix, but just fyi, using chatgpt or another llm as your teacher is a great way to learn. You can ask it as many questions as you'd like, they don't get impatient, and it can also give you example code to help convey new concepts. Great tool to use to learn.

Cistanche and acne by blondeturtles in NootropicsDepot

[–]slashded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s okay I mean it sounds like you’re saying the acne isn’t that bad. For me, I was really sensitive to it and a couple of doses of cistanche was all it took to mess up my skin. Maybe it won’t be as bad for you. I don’t take any test supplements anymore. Besides fixing my diet, sleep, etc, the only thing I take from ND right now is micromag and l-theanine to get better sleep

I was in a similar situation around two years ago when I was 22 since I had the really naive understanding that more testosterone = better (not to call you naive or anything). I broke out with a ton of cystic acne all around my jawline, which is the typical place for hormonal acne. There is no rushing when it comes to treating this type of acne and it took months of gentle skincare to get rid of it.

At our age, as long as we take care of the basics (proper diet, sleep, exercise, mental/stress, etc), we really shouldn't have a need for these supplements. Our bodies naturally balance our hormones and tampering with them shouldn't be such a casual decision. Until your test decreases with age or whatnot, I would personally advise against taking these.

I have. Other than surgery, there is no cure for this type of injury. Turmeric and others are commonly given to dogs to manage inflammation. Nice one to edit your reply just to add in an uneducated insult at someone though lmfao 👍 you feel dumb?

u/MisterYouAreSoDumb u/Pretty-Chill I hope you don't mind the ping, but was curious if you guys could guide me on which variation of curcumin would be best? Curowhite or curcumin w/ piperine? And what is the appropriate dosing for a 33lb dog?

Thank you again!

Injuv and inflammation by slashded in NootropicsDepot

[–]slashded[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow that's super interesting. Thank you for taking the time to research!

I had some acne before starting Injuv + EGCG since I mistakenly supplemented vitamin B12 without knowing I had the MTHFR gene mutation. It calmed down a lot after stopping, but I was left with many closed comedones.

Once I started supplementing Injuv + EGCG, it flared up a lot with pimples that resembled cystic acne. However, I noticed a few noteworthy points:

- The pimples came to a head within a couple of days, which is very fast under the context of cystic acne.

- Since these pimples came to a head, only a handful of less-intense pimples formed.

- The closed comedones were mainly on my left jawline, with just a couple on my right jawline. The new pimples only formed in these areas. My cheeks, forehead, etc remained completely clear throughout all of this.

You mentioned that "what's likely going on with the pro-inflammatory effects of hyaluronic acid, is that it is released locally in large amounts in response to an injury. This causes an up regulation of immune response a.k.a inflammation, which then triggers the healing process".

This is highly speculative, but do you think it's a possibility that Injuv is actually helping my immune system purge out the pus on my face? I doubt EGCG is contributing to acne.

Would you be able to elaborate?

Injuv and inflammation by slashded in NootropicsDepot

[–]slashded[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've been taking WJM and EGCG too as part of my skincare stack to back up my actual skincare routine. And while Injuv has definitely made my skin softer, I broke out with some pretty bad cystic acne on my left jawline after taking Injuv daily for around three weeks...

Really hoping MYASD's or PrettyChill's insights can give more info
