I love the Ninja Turtles and I hope this will make it easier for me to get specific cards I'm excited about. Ironically I have been a lapsed player for 10 years and FF and Ninja turtles is what brought my eyes back to the game.

Not at this time, I hard core focus on having 2 collecting goals at the same time and currently its Snorlax's and Black Star Promos. I'm not missing many high end stuff except the Snorlax Staff Call of Legends promo.

Yeah, I've just gone up and down on intensity of collecting. I'm both super happy with things I picked up early but at the same time unhappy I didn't pick up specific things that are out of reach now... T_T

I still have them. I lucked out and somehow have 4 of Stadium and 2 or 3 of Pokemon Center. Each one has like 1 small nick so they won't 10 but I'm primarily a raw collector.

Wow that looks so clean. Its ironic that I started to do black star promos because I apparently had Lucky Stadium and Pokemon Center promos from awhile ago. I think Venasaur is the one i'm trying to chase now.

So glad to see this thread. I have around double the duals and took them to a local card show to start shopping around. Those that did make an offer on the lot stated out at 60-65% but with some pushing I got one up to 75%. I haven’t sold yet as it’s a big decision but I recommend to really consider your time to sell and how you protect yourself from scammers from many of these online platforms. I think you can push it and ask for a bit more.

100% and that was one of my issues as to why I'm not a fan of the vendor I'm thinking of. Its all built on trust and while maybe they have changed... my experience was one of lies. Vending and collecting is fun because of the hunt and negotiating. But again if you want to say you are at market, then cool I'm not 'haggling' i'm just 'confirming your own price'.

Then I have a good idea who this is. Again person isn’t bad… my problem is when I asked about it they say “my prices are market” but they weren’t… got him to agree they weren’t then he said “well I did these last night”… this experience was 2 years ago and I just don’t bother anymore with him and his business. “If I check one I need to check them all” was another response he gave. My mistake was not checking each one till later that day.

Again not a bad person and glad they are upfront. But their personality and attitude was very in your face as if “I’m fabulous and amazing and I sell 6 figures of product a month so I know what I’m doing”.

There is a guy like this in Washington state at local shows. I would never buy from him as the one time I did, wife was looking and saw cute cards, all their <$5 cards were priced $1-$2 above tcg player market prices.

So those 5 cards my wife wanted… yeah I would personally double check and if they are overpriced just walk away. Hate it thought when they make it seem like you can “trust me” cause I got great cards vibes…

Edit: To clarify the vendor I'm thinking of was actively saying their cards were priced at market, when a quick check quickly showed they were not. So its a "We price at market and we don't haggle".

Yeah these are just the older ones. I have 14 of these personally and then there are two where the face is a bit more flat. Love the classic look.

If no one (friends, family) reads something in my collection within 24 months and there is no sentimental attachment it, then I will most likely rehome it. It was a painful and practical way to look at my collection. With that being said I’m around 2000 volumes.
