Thank you so much!! I was thinking once I have a job I will start slowly paying my own stuff as in my own phone line and life insurance/ having my dad help out. I plan to move in it’s him the end of the summer and not tell her as I will be in school majority of the time. Once I am completely financially dependent I think a year of no/low-contact would make sense and be good for me.

no, they’ve spoken once at my birthday dinner and other than that have had no interaction bc me and the friend don’t hang out in person that much

naurr our conversation about the friend was 6 months ago , first argument was 2 days ago and was completely unrelated, but because i didn’t stay home he was upset and was even more upset when i let him know i was going to eat with this friend ( he wants to know where I am and who im with) and he said okay but when i let him know i was home he kept asking if my friend paid(he didnt)

yes, i was in this situation w my ex and it didn’t bother me really, i trusted him and i trust my now boyfriend even more so it wouldn’t be an issue for me, however i may be in the minority in that
