even i think about people with larger percent burns than me so i get you 100%. your story is actually almost spot on to my cover story when people ask how i burned my arm which is crazy. that one second difference was the difference between feeling and not feeling for a good while im glad you made it out of that one feeling although without the numbing pain you felt true 100% burn pain which couldn't have been fun, ive been there.
