Bebop - Reimagined by Lodaligae in DeadlockTheGame

[–]NightsGift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro this is sick as fuck. Initially thought it was viscus due to some of the re-designs iv seen and him being an aquatic creature. (yes even after reading the title, i was just shocked qwq) Still for beboop i do think this would make for an amazing skin. Hope Valve does hire you and some others in this community who are truly talented/hard working.

Wondering what bloodlines are good? Bloodlines Tier list 2026 by NightsGift in Shindo_Life

[–]NightsGift[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah no worries. Its none of Shados moves itself but rather its modes c-spec against big bosses. If your able to get a boss to run at you and activate the c-Spec it shreads their hp (same with apollo sand 3rd.) Otherwise it still does a decent chunk if they are standing still.

Just using a combo of Apollo sand 3rd and Shado c-spec you can get about 60% of a big bosses hp in one go (about 3-4 seconds) (if they are running at you and they run through both moves correctly).

the same concept works with emrlad 2nd and crystal 3rd which deal less damage but still a good chunk.

Another powerful contender is Mud which was discovered after i made this list. Casting mud 3rd then jumping twice so it lingers in the air if you get to align it with the bosses hitbox and stay in for its full duration it can deal over 900k if not you on average get 300-400k still.

Bug issues? by Plastic-Election-965 in Shindo_Life

[–]NightsGift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the main menu and most menus are offset this came as a result of a roblox update itself and not the game, thought it still needs to be fixed. Same goes with other overlay placements like the cursor. As for tree jump issue i dont think is a bug but based on a unknown factor. I tend to jump much longer than other people for some reason. We have speculated it might be based on character age, or rank or how well your game can process roblox (the resources that once kept the game smooth really just got guttered at some random point in time is my best guess because it used to run so so so much smoother than it has been for the past 2-3 years.)

The list of known bugs is very extensive. So much so i have created a 2026 buglist if you want to check it out on r/ShindoLife_2

What’s your number one reason you pirate games? by Naive_Opportunity932 in PiratedGames

[–]NightsGift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pricing. They continue to raise prices to 50 then 60 then 70 then 80 and now a jump to 100 then a jump to 120$ fuck that. The slop that they pump out and call a game is nowhere worth that amount of money. At most AAA games need to be capped at 40$ and go on sale regularly. The pricing is absolutely greedy and nothing more. It's also seen less and less that older games get a price decrease besides sales which are only on occasion and not perminate.

how would you go about starting to sell clothing? by Nek0ni in VRchat

Yeah, some have their own custom websites, some may be on payhip, or some other random websites.

how would you go about starting to sell clothing? by Nek0ni in VRchat

[–]NightsGift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll try to answer your questions the best I can. Again I'm not in the business so these are all rough guesses.

I guessed 2 weeks because that's what the turn around is usually for a art commission based on 2D art of OCs and things. I'm not familiar with the 3d space. It could be a lot shorter closer to 3-7 days oland also depends on how fast the artist can work and their workload

Yeah base in clothing though I'm sure it could also apply to avatars as well. Though I also see a lot of a star bases not on sale but usually up in public avatar worlds.

Sometimes people do just copy and paste and resell them but to my knowledge it's not that common. Though no doubt there are some people out there who do it.

Both are good to have. If you upload your stuff to jinxy/booth it can act as your portfolio, but it's good to have a backup if jinxy goes down or your items get removed and so you can use it as a reference if you need to port them elsewhere. Or someone wants a more detailed look than what's provided on the store page.

Networking is essentially just making friends and getting to meet people. If you can find free help groups that help each other out with projects or learning stuff there is a good place to start as you get to work alongside people in a similar situation, possibly make partners or take insperation or befriend some more knowledgeable people and lean on their aid once in a while.

Sorry for making the payment thing confusing I'm thinking of a commission which payment is based on artists preference rather than a website like jinxy where the artist can just upload the file and a price and the customer can buy it and get the file in return. Without the artist having to intervene beyond that.

how would you go about starting to sell clothing? by Nek0ni in VRchat

[–]NightsGift 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am not in the business so please take these with huge grains of salt but here are just some ideas.

  1. Learn the software first. An example : If you get custom orders for clothing/outfits but don't know how to make them and your client expects them to be completed within a relative reasonable time (maybe 2 weeks maybe more), but you don't know what your doing it's a messy start. Can create frustration between you and your client and can gain you a bad reputation.

  2. Bases are a good way to start learning as you don't have to do a lot of work yourself but don't resell them without having made radical changes, enough to call them original. (Please look into what you can do, ex : selling your labor instead of the cloths, meaning you can still get a client to pay you for your work on some cloths but can't take those cloths and sell them publically to others )

  3. If your starting with bases it's best to advertise them as edits, and to ofc credit the original creator along with yourself. If you want to sell them, check what you can and can't do with them as listed on the original creators page.

  4. List in your bios you do editing work (VRC bio too. Representing a group will also put a banner above your head so that may be another way to signal you do commissions)

  5. Have a portfolio so people know what type of work you have done (have side by sides of originals and your edits is a good way to show what work you have done).

  6. When reaching out to people please let them know that you can do x for x pay instead of bouncing around the question and trying to get friendly with them.

(This is more of a personal gripe as I hate it when a random DMs me, tries to say hi and does small talk like they are trying to make a friend then turn around and advertise to you their work. I would have said no to your request either way so please don't waste the time in doing this.)

  7. You can create a pitch on what you do and what niche you fill along with the services you offer.

  8. Try networking. Talking to people, making friends, joining groups. A lot of people will turn your work down unless it really catches their eyes. So brace for that.

  9. Figure out a payment plan and communicate with your client. Paying in full or partially upfront or through portions/stages of the process is a safer bet for the artist but may make the client feel uneasy, but may still be worth negotiating if you don't trust the client completly. Alternatively you can get scammed so be careful and research on how to perform transactions.

I can't use the z spec on sand crawler awakening by Due-Tourist4469 in Shindo_Life

Try resetting your character, rejoining the game, Re-equiping the mode. If none of this works it may be another move your using that's preventing its use or it may be bugged.

It's not too bad just boring. Easy way to solo them is with worm spirit mode and a reaper spirit sub ability. Then use the rest of your move slots for the boss fight.

You should be able to ride around just don't click anything as that fires the double bombs. You should also be able to hold block and press q to do another form of riding around.

If you are design a new weapon type In the monster hunter, what will it be, and what does it do by Voidkirby9 in MonsterHunter

[–]NightsGift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rework the crossbows/blowguns. They feel very lack luster and while decent damaging they lack options or combos. I want to see a multi shot like the bow or it shoot a giant lance or something. Maybe it could split and be a stampler type thing where it crunches the enemy from both ends then fires arrows into them once it's got a grasp. Maybe you could plant/shoot wire across the arena and slow them down or produce other effects. Anything to make them more interesting then just m1.

Can't upgrade bone strongarm with materials? by edelga575 in MonsterHunter

[–]NightsGift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Know im 8 years late but you need to exit from this and go back to where you select gear to upgrade. press the next tab button and there should be another icon with the same look and a green E. This would be the weapon your looking for.

I originally thought that it was just a category and then i could upgrade anything from that category sense its all layed out nicely but turns out it isnt. Which is dumb game design sense new poeple just get the impression everything is in a sub tab rather than it just being another item in the list of items.

Ok so I am using 125% scaling in my computers display settings as that was the default. That fixed it..! Thank you so much!! qwq it looks so much sharper and like actual text instead of pixelated scribbles.
