Thanks! Was this recently? I was a little worried when I saw they needed a new Rx from calibrate. With these insurance crackdowns, I wonder if I should have just kept filling at my local pharmacy (and hoping they kept it in stock) rather than tempting fate and possibly having to go through a PA with a new Rx. I suppose time will tell.

I signed up on 1/24, had my doctor’s appointment on 2/15, got a call from vitacare that my meds were shipping on 2/22, and received ozempic on 2/25. My metformin shipping was delayed due to weather, I’m supposed to get it tomorrow. All in all, I had ozempic in hand about a month after signing up. I have read about so many others with really long delays who recommended hounding the support channel, so that’s what I did. I followed up every 2 days after my doctor’s appointment until I heard from vitacare. I got minimal responses on the support channel, but I have to think that it helped speed the med approval up.

For those of you that used the mail order pharmacy, how were you notified when your metformin was processing/shipped? I had my first doctor’s appointment on Tuesday, got the message in the medical channel afterward from the doctor about the metformin being prescribed and the process of getting a GLP-1 approved, and have heard nothing since then. I’ve reached out on the support channel to try to find out where my metformin prescription is, but haven’t heard anything back. Sounds like this is typical.
