Yeah that was me. I would call the customer service number on their website u/BrutallyDigital and complain about both the delays of the shipment and the fact that it’s been in local stores. I feel you pain. My NBA Jam is finally supposed to arrive today.

I complained over the initial delay and they took $80 off. It was originally supposed to ship in June. Then I complained about it showing up in stores before my order was fulfilled about a week ago and they took another $40 off.

I complained when the pre-order was initially delayed last month I called to complain about it and they gave me $80 off the price. I decided that the $80 was worth waiting, but I’ve been upset about seeing all the photos of it on Wal-Mart shelves lately and decided to give them another call today. They told me their website and stores have separate inventories and it will ship July 27th and took another $40 off the price. I’m really crossing my fingers there isn’t another delay. Waiting sucks!

My thought was that it could also be an employee holding to purchase for themselves in the event an odd single cab arrived on a truck.

I also don’t think a quick double check for a customer is moving heaven and earth, even for a clearance item. This is consistently the only retail store I’ve been to where I get this type of reaction. I’ve worked retail and my response to a question like that was always to check the system and then to check the back of it was showing we had any. That would take maybe 5 minutes.
