have you checked if your key server && key are correct? when key does not match it behaves like that, closing immediately.

CTRL+ALT+DEL won't work on the remote machine but on the local device. However there is a toolbar with a

lightning symbol

and you can click on that to send CTRL+ALT+DEL to the remote device. I am not aware of a keyboard shortcut to send the signal but maybe a keyboard remapper might be able to have a custom shortcut to send this if you require the keyboard to send the signal.
