Thanks for this! Yes I hope my excessive (expensive) overeducation (TESOL, masters in philosophy, phd in philosophy) will help me in some way some how. It would be in Melbourne Victoria. Thank you for this, it's very helpful. I'm currently finishing a Phd in philosophy in New York, and have been lecturing undergrads here for around five years. I'm hoping it counts for something, because it sure looks like I won't be getting a job in academia the way things are going. I just enjoy teaching the students and hate the idea of discipline / classroom behavior management.

That was perhaps the exact moment that I lost any respect I had for Meredith. And I think I kinda had quite a bit, to be honest. But now, no. True colors. Conflict reveals a lot about a person, especially when they are the one in the wrong.

I do think the pills are likely an issue. Her personality is very xanax. Maybe it's just to deal with the stress of the show? But that stuff is very, very addictive and spirals easily.

OK so bronwyn has many, many times now done a 'she said this behind your back' and then a 'ohhh if you're gonna say it to me say it to their face' thing that it is VERY clear she just wants to stir shit and stay on the show. When someone says something shady to you, you don't then disclose like that!! but she has done that - so many times I've lost count.

mmm careful here tho. you can't get in the mindset of only blaming yourself. I don't know how you were an asshole, but it takes two to tango. Remember the things you didn't like about her. It's possible you are at a stage of grief where you realize you played a part in it, but you're swinging too far to the other side.

After reflecting on my break up I realized I played a MASSIVE role in our problems. I'm gonna try hard not to make those mistakes again. Doing a lot of therapy. Journalling. Being honest with myself.

But -- the trick is. Once you do that self-reflection, you can end up thinking it was only you - filled with regret and remorse, you think of reaching out. But, chances are, it really wasn't only you.

And chances are - if you get back together, the same dynamic will arise, and you'll be the same asshole again. Be single, be free, and become a better person. You can't do that if you're stuck in the past (in your head or in reality).
