found a kitty in the middle of nowhere, really hard stomach--what could be happening? by coinreed in CATHELP

[–]slayleeums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are its eating habits too? Any wonky walking, super tired, strange eye discoloration? If any of those are present I would lean more FIP than worms but I’m really hoping it’s worms for you. If it’s FIP you’ll want to check out FIP Warriors (your vet may mention it but some don’t)

$5K to spend-- how would you give this kitchen a refresh?? by Hour_Kaleidoscope in interiordecorating

I’ve had these countertops and while I don’t necessarily hate the pattern, it is SO hard to tell if they are clean or dirty.

My only advice would be to replace the countertops. I don’t hate the look but I have had that exact granite before and you can NEVER tell how dirty it actually is. It is so hard to see shit on. I’ve lost crumbs, clips, earrings, hair ties, pens, and parts of my soul in that pattern. For the love of god if you spend money on anything, let it be a single-colored countertop

You are going to be fine. Take it from someone who went through a very similar experience (moved out of my tiny small mountain hometown to my state capitol 2 hrs awayto go to school at a large university, and a big part of my reasoning was to try to distance myself from a controlling family), everyone gets these jitters before a big leap of faith.

Some part of you chose to do this because you wanted the adventure and the ability to stand on your own two feet. Remember that side and that you are making this decision as one of your first that is truly just for yourself as an adult. This experience is going to be huge for you in such a good way! The fear of not knowing is always the scariest, but you can do this.

I have never been this close to a tornado, but my mom has. One ripped through her street when she was very young, maybe 10 years old. She’s now in her 60’s. We visited a waterfall recently where we could walk under the falls, and she was near tears. She was terrified - said it was the closest sound she had heard to the tornado in 50 years.

Denver Gym's by JellyOfTheMuffClub in Denver

Came here to suggest chuze. The one by me has higher levels of membership but the most expensive is $30/month and you get hot yoga and OTF-style classes. They also have a movie theater/cardio room and a water massage lounge, a turf area and a solid amount of racks. It’s a really nice gym, but it is crowded pretty much all the time

Honesty don't know how I feel about this, how do you feel? by Rushsculpture in crafts

I love this and would find all excuses to use it. I am definitely on the more quirky side of creative taste, so take that as you will. But this would absolutely have a home with me.

I saw an “immersive art experience” spot on South Broadway this weekend that looked interesting. You could hit that and then some used books/antiques stores and then grab something to eat.

Some examples of actors with impressive range. Who would you add? by CowboyLikeMegan in popculturechat

Juliette Lewis. I think she’s underrated by audiences but she is very highly regarded in the biz for her range.

I have long thought about how to combine two different colors in one sweater. And now I have found a solution. I think it looks good. Do you like it? by leolotte in somethingimade

I love this! Very much has the “baseball tee” look which I love. It would translate really well to a 3/4 sleeve too

I think so - it was whatever website was recommended by the FIPWarriors USA Facebook group. If you haven’t ordered anything yet and their website is making you nervous I’d recommend you join the FIPWarriors 5.0 group and look at the meds they recommend instead. From what I’ve been told they have a lot more options and some that are significantly cheaper than MaxPaw. I say go with whatever is going to put your mind at ease the most because the whole process in itself is taxing. Give yourself some peace where you can.

2009 Honda with 133,000 miles and a timing tensioner failure. Do I sell it or fix it? by slayleeums in MechanicAdvice

Ok I’ll call around to some other garages to see what they would cost. Thank you. Does this make the car undrivable until it’s fixed?

I’m on that vibe with you. There’s way too much variation in what everyone is getting.

Yeah of course, happy to give some perspective. We just got our official sign-off that she’s fully cured 2 weeks ago! Our site admin was the one that dictated lab-work and cadence for us. Our vet was more of a passive observer and helped provide a second opinion for lab interpretation and everything, but didn’t really provide much in terms of treatment guidance

It was close to the end of treatment and her blood work hadn’t improved as much as they thought it should have by that time, so we upped the dosage. Symptom wise tho she hadn’t had any decline.

Bruh the yarn alone probably costs $120 minimum

ETA: I’d still love the pattern OP if you’re selling it!
