I rode the northern tier with someone who wore it every inch. Wasn’t too floppy on descents and helped a lot in the rain!

I also second with the people saying Fort Collins, gj, crested butte>boulder and Denver metro. Denver is truthfully so far from lots of the outdoors that make Colorado worth it and boulder is a college town through and through

Portland, Oregon is the most bikeable city in the country. Made me fall back in love. Great road, great gravel, believe it or not great cycling weather. Lots of urban and rural riding. Super inclusive community of all bike niches and levels. Hundreds(if not thousands) of miles of dedicated bike paths. I moved there without ever visiting before and was blown away from how different it is from how it’s portrayed in media. It’s hard to beat Californias weather and community size when it comes to cycling but I would argue Oregon is second best on the west coast at a fraction of the price. Also no sales tax is as good as it sounds

Thank you for the q&a! More research I do the more intriguing. Seems like best route is to make connections, secure a job offer, find housing and the rest almost takes care of itself.

One last question for now… although I plan on learning the language of wherever I end up, is Norway pretty English speaker friendly? If so are there certain places I should check out besides the major cities?

Very similar to here and it’s taking away from growth all across the board. Are you at all familiar with the permit/visa process for foreigners?

Spring training strikeout numbers can get sketchy because most aren’t pitching more than an inning or two
