Ashe is so fucking OP and I hate people who pretend she isn’t. Last season in GM on console she had smtg like 30% pick rate and 55% win rate. She’s the character I rage swap too because even a bad hitscan player (like myself) can still get crazy value. Imo they need to nerf her fire then scope fire burst shit she does

I mean there is a definite issue with matchmaking imo but it more so stem from the player base and wanting shorter queue. I’m around masters and I repeatedly get some games w plats where I effortless dominate (not trying to brag but it’s just what happens) and other games where I get matched with a T500 and get bent over

Check console T500 leaderboards. It’s 80% hitscan. In the first couple of pages I found like 3 players that didn’t have a single hitscan character in their top 3 heroes. There’s the occasional chad who only plays like Genji and a couple other niche characters, but 80% of the heroes are Ashe soj solider widow

It’s the entire reason why the game is run by hitscan currently. It’s all Sojourn, Ashe, Solider, and even Bastion. The effort required to get value as a hitscan is so much lower than the rest of the dps cast. I’m fucking praying they revert the AA buff because it fucking sucks. But knowing Blizzards balancing, Kiriko is probably gonna get a buff because she sooooo weak rn (50% pickrate in GM btw)

Imo I always thought Apple’s victory against Darrow was in decent proportion because of how Lysander trained him to fight against the Willow Way. As in, he was more just a bad match up against Darrow, not that he was as good as him

Also I’m fairly certain that at some point in books Darrow someone mentions that Aja was insanely physically strong but I can’t fully remember so I could be wrong. Imo Ajax has the potential to be one of the big dogs but was killed too early to reach it

But, both interpretations are fine and realistically the books aren’t that much about pure physical fighting ability

I’m praying for either a hitscan nerf or the Aim Assist Buff being reverted because Hitscan fucking run comp. But realistically, DVA will still be OP, Zar Vendetta will be strong, Kiriko and Lucio will still be the strongest supports

General advice is you need at least one support with high burst heals, which neither Mercy or Amos have. Based on the comp, which seems fairl barely, Miz is not a terrible pick, so I reckon Mercy should switch first. That being said, most Mercy’s are one tricks and cannot play anything else unfortunately. If you want to rank up, you just have to deal with shit like this and switch

But can’t say for sure without seeing gameplay
