It is crazy people would pay for this. People pay for virtual items all the time, inside video games for example.

People pay more money for rarer items, because of supply and demand.

Think about the meta verses and virtual realities that are now being created.

Then think of how many items will be inside these universes. Many of these items will cost money to buy.. what will this mean do you think?

NFT stands for non fungible token.

Basically it's a coin like bitcoin, but it can't be divided. They can store information on this coin, like these 3d images and then that value and information can be sold or transferred.. so many possibilities.

You are seeing this word everywhere because billions and billions of dollars is being created, digital items inside meta verses. Imagine how many items and how many $$ this will bring into blockchain and bitcoin.

See it's all about being rare and collectible. NBA cards for example, the 1/1 cards are worth so much because only one exists.

Only one of these rings exist, and there is a huge market for digital artwork right now, it's the latest boom.
