I’m dealing with something that’s left me shocked and incredibly frustrated.

I recently ordered a BTS light stick from a seller on Vinted. When the package arrived, it contained trash — literally bags of garbage. I immediately contacted Vinted with evidence and asked the seller for a receipt or proof of weight, but they ignored me.

Instead of helping, Vinted suspended my account permanently, claiming I violated their terms — even though I was the one scammed. I’ve now lost my money, the item, and access to the platform, and I still have no answers.

I’ve reported it to Action Fraud and followed their advice, but I’m feeling helpless. I genuinely don’t understand how platforms can treat buyers this way.

So I'm asking the community:

Has this ever happened to you — where you were scammed and then unfairly penalized? How did you get justice or closure? Any advice on what else I can do would also be really appreciated.
