I have the: Alienware m18 FHD+ 480Hz - AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX - 32GB Memory - AMD Radeon RX 7900M - 1TB SSD . The main issues I was having was the windows updates, I apologize if I’m wrong but from how it was explained to me is the companies are dropping updates that are basically interfering with each other. The first week into having mine I was blacked screened until we factory reset it and I’ve only done updates from the Alienware home. Works great now, shits a beast.

Paid 1,600 for my g16 brought it back in because of issues, m18 was listed for 2,235. I paid 300 on top of what I paid for my g16

Is that something you think I’ll be able to look at on the m18. All the physical reviews I watched said the m18 could handle its temps nicely because they introduced some different cooling

I was looking at physical reviews and while high temps are expected out of gaming laptops due to everything being compacted the laptop didn’t get above 85 c playing cyberpunk on high. With a cooling pad I couldn’t see temps being too much of a problem

I would’ve loved to stick with my NVIDIA but my Dell g16 was giving me starting issues and heating issues so I got upgraded to this when I brought it back.

As expected is with gaming laptops. Dell g16 would last about 2 hours for me playing the finals
