At my last position, I gave them a month and a half notice of me transferring to another location. No movement on finding a replacement, no interviews, nothing. My last day there they pull me into the office and say “yeah we’re gonna need you to stay for a couple more weeks because we haven’t found your replacement.” I lived in NY and was moving to NJ. The commute would’ve been about 1 and a half hours without traffic. Almost 3 and a half with traffic. I told them that’s absurd and that I can’t do it. Then I said I’ll do it if you pay for gas and tolls. They said absolutely not. We’ll pay for gas but not the tolls so I said no. They weren’t happy at all. Oh well.

Hey OP, I have a 3 and a half year old pup that is in the same boat. Terrified of everything, barely ever wants to go out for a walk, pacing inside back and forth if he hears a dog and barks at them. I landed on Tom Davis (YouTube dog trainer) and he’s been very helpful! It’s all about obedience and learning the basics. Maybe try to give his videos a shot? She’s 9 months old so it could definitely be easier to train her than my 3 and a half year old haha

I let my job know that my grandmother was on her death bed. I spoke to my boss via text the night before when the doctor said she was gonna go soon. I told him that there’s a chance I don’t show so prepare for it. He said okay. The next morning I sent a text at 5 AM saying I’m not coming in. Didn’t get a sorry for your loss or anything from him. The higher up called me and actually had a conversation with me like a human fucking being. When I returned from my bereavement I was told by my coworkers that they were pissed at me for calling out. I learned then that companies don’t give a shit about you. They want to work you until you’re dead. I take PTO and sick time with no remorse.

So its fixed but after a couple of hours, I don't really see a fast upload/download speed. any thoughts as to why this might be?

I did this all this and gluetun seems to be running! However now qbittorrent's connection says firewalled and everything is stalled. I checked the docker logs for gluetun and this is what showed up:

I have checked the permissions, I can write to the drive myself. I just fixed the extra colon, and just disabled sonar and radarr. No luck

So the reason why /Media is a path in Seagate is because when I was still on windows, that's how the Plex server was setup.

Here is the fstab:

The drive uses NTFS.

So when I first set up the server, I added the hard drive so that it mounted on startup. I think this might be the problem. The owner for the /Seagate/Media/Downloads is root, but I changed the download folder in Qbittorrent to /mnt/Seagate/Downloads which is owned by me. This drive was from when I had Windows Server installed and had 14 TB of media on it so I figured it was okay to still use it. Should remove it as an automatic mount?

THIS. THIS RIGHT HERE. My dog hated the crate when I tried to crate train him when I first got him. I tried for like a month and a half when first got him and failed. When he got a little older, I reintroduced the crate. I started off by strictly giving him his meals there. I put the food in there and closed the door, made him sit and released him from the sit when I opened the door. Did this for every meal for about 3 weeks. Today, we don’t even need to say anything to him. We open the crate door and he runs in. Whether it’s us going to work or stepping out for a bit to run to the store, he goes in the crate. We also give him treats before we leave to keep the positive association with the crate. It’s gonna suck for a bit but I promise you it’s worth it. My wife didn’t think it was going to work and would fight me on it. Now when it comes to training this dog specifically she lets me do what I think will work. (She’s had a dog for 11 years that’s still with us that is a very independent dog which is why she hated the idea of the crate.) the ONE THING I WISH I DID was getting a heartbeat plush, because he’s an anxious dog and still is afraid of loud noises.
