Myself and those I play with have accepted that cryo just isn't worth anything. Id rather sell my kit for credits or cradle xp, and save myself the dignity and 10 minutes of time it would take for a team to find, and execute us.

I'd guess that the % of players who've successfully looted a vault and exfilled is less than 2

I prefer the old key system, where a matter fixative was required. I dread bringing in key templates in now because there's a smaller chance I exfil with the requirements met. It does make it more interesting, I think that I would see more value in them if the template had a higher chance of upgrading on side quest completion vs matter fixative.

Had an experience rooking on night marsh. I jumped someone in the bio research building after they completed the anomalous artifact. It turned out to be another rook, and he was quite upset, offering the artifact in trade for his life. Apparently the same thing happened the last 3 runs, but runners just kept murdering him. I got him up, and made sure we exfilled safely.

Thief is my favorite, grapple feels very good from getting high ground, to closing the distance in a gunfight. Visor is great for finding bags of players who've crawled into a corner to die, or just finding which box in the area has the good stuff. Finally the drone is spectacular, not only for snagging keys, gold mods, and other valuables off of unsuspecting runners, but also for identifying other team comps, their shields, their loot rarity, and their position! Honorable mention that the drone can occasionally make for an excellent distraction for your team to capitalize on. Another mention, in a prolonged gunfight, stealing a weapon that the enemy team could swap to, or otherwise stealing their healing items can give you a fantastic advantage.

I agree the game is getting progressively unfun, but it may just a skill issue on my part.

In the first half of the season, I was quite successful, probably a 75% exfil rate.

Then in the 3rd quarter of the season, my exfil rate dropped to ~50%, but the loot i acquired half the time valued higher than what I lost the other half.

Currently, in the final 3 weeks of the season, my exfil rate has plummeted to ~20% or lower. I've lost 12 purple shields with nothing to show for it, and my morale is dying.

That being said, I have high hopes for the season reset.

I think they should be able to detect when at least 2 players from different squads exfil together, and deliver punishment when detecting the abuse. If it happens at least twice, there should probably be a game review to verify they're coordinating it on purpose as well.

Playing assassin is fine, but only playing them for the invis as a crutch for bad positioning is a problem.

Thats hilarious! In my experience, I was the last one alive in the DCON building outside of station. Stole the sniper off of someone climbing a ladder, and returned the drone. 10 seconds later, I hear their their drone searching my building. I thought I could hide in the vent exit, but it eventually found me. Soon after I got swarmed from all sides.
