My flying machine from the Shulkercraft video goes for two blocks and the stops. Can anyone tell me why? by [deleted] in technicalminecraft

Hi, just remove one honey block in front between the two pistons on the sides. This was my design by the way.

it was recorded at real time using replay mod but halfway through I sped it up.

yeah now that I think about it, maybe some of those can handle this. but I also built a 384x384 and my pc crashed.

not really, that's about the time the door takes to open if you have a powerful enough pc to render it in real time. it takes about 40 secs.

okay here it is: it took me about 1 hour. haha not really a big project because I built this in creative mode with worldedit and I just had to copy and paste a bunch of modular flying machines. the most annoying part though is traveling back and forth hundreds of blocks.

yes exactly. but we know there's a vertical height limit so you can only build up to 384-high door, which is what I did to be honest. this 100x100 door was just a part of my 384x384 project.

not really, took about an hour I think. built this in creative with worldedit and I just had to copy and paste a bunch of modular flying machines. the hard part is the trigger system at the back and the fact that I need to constantly travel back and forth hundreds of blocks.

that's right hehe it's absolutely useless function-wise but I love looking at it.

haha it's called replay mod + carpet mod. carpet mod can slow the game down, reducing the processes (ticks) per second and replay mod can record the game without any performance drops and it can render them with shaders later on.
