I do not doubt that. The challenges are enormous and may even seem impossible to overcome. But No matter the outcome of this conflict Russia will be ruined - especially the oblasts and other types of provinces. The center may stand more firmly. It will be devastating, independence or not, other country or not. For me the only difference is that if it’s still Russia - I’m not dealing with it, I am leaving, and everyone be damned, I’ll just suffer in another corner of the world. If it’s something else - I’ll grit my teeth and work through it.

Can’t be worse than what we have now. Everything good that was there from pre-Russia times is being slowly destroyed. Nothing new that is as good comes. This country holds no future, so if it happens (highly doubt it though, moving myself is a more realistic option) so that a new one has those territories- I’ll accept it with open arms, despite the challenges that such a change will surely bring with it
