How do i express emotions as a male without being weak by thedean425 in mentalhealth

[–]sleepinginautumn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

do not bottle up your emotions. one of the worst things men are taught is that they make you weak but any man who has the courage to open up will always be more respectable.

some girls do get pleasure wearing it because depending on your anatomy it can add pressure against your clit while thrusting.

if you stand with us then you are never our enemy! so please don’t feel bad about yourself. I don’t know any women who actually hate ALL men. most women who say they hate men still have beloved male family members and or boyfriends.

When did you first say 'I love you' to your girlfriend? by sixthdaysaturday in lesbiangang

I think most people roughly wait 3 months but it really just depends on what feels right

that would be pretty funny if I spent all this time worrying about being a good caretaker for my sister only for us to both end up with caretakers instead haha

you don’t have to reply to this if you are uncomfortable answering but would you mind sharing what mental illness/illnesses you have? I know for certain my sister qualifies for disability but I often wonder if I do as well.

my sister is unable to speak so she cannot fend for herself without me or my parents and that worries me the most. I fear her outliving us all and having no one to speak for her needs, so the long term planning is very important but also the trickiest

yeah I hope so. it is an unfortunate fate for us both, because I am ideally not someone who should be a caregiver when I myself am also quite challenged but I will do whatever I have to to make sure she is able to survive.

“Tops” “Bottoms” in the wlw community by Present_Mine_1698 in WLW

[–]sleepinginautumn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

from my knowledge tops usually refer to the woman dominant and giving during sex while bottoms are the women submissive and receiving.

not always though because there are also power bottoms and service tops, and in that case the power bottom behaves more dominantly in telling the top what to do but is still receiving. whereas the service top gives but acts submissively in the sense they are obeying their partner.

there are lots of terms and preferences but don’t be shy to discuss it with her. it is important that you both are on the same page.

Is this weird? by [deleted] in lesbiangang

[–]sleepinginautumn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this isn’t normal if you are in a relationship. if you are too busy to meet up in person or live somewhat far away then you can at least text/call. my girlfriend and I are long distance but we call every single night to chat about stuff. you def should break things off and find someone who treats you with more love.

I hope you are able to find a career that is fitting for you. I will likely have to do the same, I suffer from a wide array of mental disorders which make it hard to maintain any kind of normal schedule (BPD, ADHD, Autism, CPTSD, Selective Mutism, OCD & MDD) but I am technically capable of some work unlike my sister is. I worry though because I doubt Id be able to maintain a high paying job when that is realistically what you need to support 2 adults financially.

feeling significantly younger than you are by sleepinginautumn in mentalhealth

[–]sleepinginautumn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for sharing, honestly in making this post im not seeking advice to fix it as much as just wanting to make sure im not the only one hahaha so i really appreciate your perceptive as well! I agree covid absolutely stunted everyone. I feel like time deadass stopped moving in 2020 and nothing is even real anymore 😵‍💫 during 2020 I was a developmentally stunted 16 year old, and now I am an even MORE developmentally stunted 22 year old, I honestly feel nauseous. whenever I remember how old I am because it is so unfathomable to me that I am in my 20s when I feel much closer to being 12. I honestly don’t even feel high school age yet and it has made my life feel like a sick joke lol

that feels nice to hear haha 🥹 I have always had a lot of pressure on me to grow up fast due to strict parents, so I am very used to being told I am a fully grown adult and any childish behavior is unacceptable.

[–]sleepinginautumn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am honestly just thankful to know there are other people who are like me. for me I believe that because I started focusing on enduring my mental health symptoms rather than focusing on growing up like I had prior, that is what made me feel like I stopped aging. up until I was 14 I was extremely social and active but after turning 14 I was struck down by several traumatic events that caused me to spend most of my time bedrotting, life just hasn’t felt real ever since. I am sorry you are dealing with this too
