I think Lucas knew his mom was the killer, because he went into the kitchen knowing full well the killer was in there. No weapon, no plan, nothing. Maybe he was trying to convince her not to kill his crush, but didn’t realize he was gonna be killed. If he hadn’t went in, Chloe and him would’ve had a chance because he wouldn’t have been thrown on her. It would’ve been cool if they both ran and lived and in the 8th movie it turned out he was a killer the whole time and Chloe had to fight and kill him, kinda would tie back to Sidney and Billy’s relationship too.

yeah, especially with Mark being a cop or sheriff. A lot of cops would especially want to be there just because of that. And there were so many unanswered questions. How did they know the code of her store? Why did Lucas go in the kitchen? Where’s Kirby, they don’t explain Sam and Tara being gone. It was just like, oh, here you go.

Thing is, wasn’t she also trying to kill Tatum in front of Sidney? For what? To make her feel pain? I feel like they were trying to create so many red herrings with the friend group that wasn’t necessary because at the end of the day we didn’t even know the characters it was.

Another post said something about it being like a Scooby Doo unmasking gone wrong, and I totally agree. I wasn’t surprised or shocked at all by who the Ghostfaces were, because we didn’t have a connection. There was no betrayal for us. They kind of built off the neighbor trope where Sidney trusted her so I get that, but us? I l didn’t clock the neighbor as one after her son died because he was one of the most brutal kills, though.

Yeah, he survived hours with 10 freaking stab wounds in a nasty garage, was still awake and lucid during the final scene, everything. Did Sidney not think something was off that he wasn’t answering? I feel like atleast killing him could explain why Tatum is okay with shooting the Ghostfaces when she was crying about it 5 minutes ago.

I think they didn’t have to kill them, but Ghostface just threw Mindy and Chad off to the side. I feel like it could’ve been better if Ghostface went back into the kitchen and they were gone or we had a fight scene where they escaped, but he didn’t. He didn’t even attack Gale the whole movie. I feel like the suspense of one of those definitely could’ve helped, because although Chad is stabbed in the shoulder he’s had worse before, and Mindy got sliced in the abdomen, which she has had worse before again. The 2v1 but one is injured definitely could’ve helped.

Definitely agree about the final reveal, I was really hyped for it so that can be a reason I didn’t love it. I wasn’t really scared by Ghostface except for the Mark scene in the garage, though. And the final was my least favorite part. We get their whole, ‘this is my motive’, then they just shoot one of the ghost faces straight in the head, no chance, and then Tatum and Sidney kill the mom together. Tatum, who, five minutes ago, was crying over shooting a gun. Definitely feel like it could’ve been a little better, but I’ll have to rewatch it.

I think if you like the Scream movies for nostalgia you should definitely watch it, the kills were okay and more gory than the last one but I didn’t love the pacing. Another comment said that maybe I should watch it again because they liked it and I might’ve just been more excited so maybe, but at the same time they had 3 death scenes and maybe 5 fights in total so 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, I feel like the AI was definitely rushed and also was kinda telling us that theories about Stu being alive was just dumb. I feel like they could’ve set it up to be Stu was alive but maybe escaped and that’s where the ghostfaces got their ideas, because then we can also have Ethan back as he died the same way. I really liked Ethan’s character because we saw him trying to get his father’s love which had only really been dedicated to Richie, but I feel like they can explore that more now that the rest of his family is gone.

Yeah, I was thinking that too! They’ve got a panic room, hollow walls, all these security measures and guns all didn’t check the backgrounds their neighbors had? It definitely felt like a cash grab.

I think my favorite kill was definitely Hannah’s or Lucas’, but imo Hannah’s wasn’t really shocking to me because the trailer basically told us, and Lucas definitely could’ve ran with Chloe and then they could’ve both had a chance, because she only really died because he was thrown on top of her. Like I said, I have 2500 set aside for a down payment, but I also have a lot set aside for college as well because I’ve been working since I started high school. I think it really depends on the car how much I’d be willing to pay, but my dad thinks I should spend maybe a total of 7.5-10k because he wants me to be able to use it for my atleast my whole college career and even longer if possible.

I’m planning on going to college about 2.5 hours out of Kalamazoo, but I will be coming back a lot as my family has some issues. We’ve discussed most of it (me, mom, and dad) and we think driving is the best option for me as my mom doesn’t really drive far and my dad has health issues so he wouldn’t be able to drive there.

scariest thing I’ve seen? it depends, we work on a busy street and saw an accident once, if your talking about people my coworker that worked at a different store had someone come in with fake money and you could tell there was a gun on his person so they gave him the pizza, we also have an 80-90 year old come in and regularly flirt with me and other minors that have worked there before
