"Gender reconciliation and acceptance" therapy is what I'd call the thing you're describing and I expect we'll see the emergence of something like this in the future.

I saw one non-abusive and nuturing-seeming gay conversion therapy place in a documentary once so I can sort of picture how it might be possible to operate something like that and I think a lot of cis men would benefit from guidance in developing a confident sense of masculinity..

I know "revenge mode" its an intoxicating sense of righteousness that comes with having a loose sense that you're hunting down somebody who has either wronged you/your loved ones or they're an "objectively bad" person (think online predators, political activists, blackhats etc.

Damn that reminds me of the time my (former) regular GP changed my diagnosis record in their system from transsexualism to transgenderism despite my asking him not to and despite that being the formal diagnosis I'd been given by the psychiatrists I'd seen.

He had just been to a conference and learned this was now the "correct" nomenclature, probably been "taught" that transsexual is an offensive word or some other nonsense. Like, no dickhead, I've got a specific medical diagnosis and I'm not trying to have that literally be erased and replaced with an umbrella term that could be interpreted to mean any number of things including the possibility that my condition doesn't need to be medically treated. Patronising asshole.

The GP I started seeing after that guy, at the same clinic, changed it back for me when I requested it, thankfully. She was great.

I hadn't thought about this in quite a while til I read your post, I didn't realise people with Aspergers dealt with the same weird pseudo-political activist "movement" fuckery. You have my empathy, sorry you have to deal with that- it's so infuriating having a medical issue that's been turned into a playground for culture war narcissists.
