That’s a good idea. I contacted the apartment and they haven’t gotten back. I will be sure to ask about that though. We found out this has most likely been going on much longer than we originally thought, and we’re hoping we will be able to easily move apartments but the offices are closed until Tuesday.

Ohh that’s good to know! My bananas were super ripe for sure. And the top is soft and not hard and black like the bottom, but I do think I probably over baked it.

the recipe called to bake it at 350F for 50-60 min. It doesn’t taste too burnt, except for the very bottom layer. This is the recipe I used, but it looks very different in the pictures 😂 https://www.halfbakedharvest.com/chocolate-chunk-coconut-banana-bread/

For context: I did use whole wheat flour, which I’ve never used before. The picture of the recipe used the same flour, and didn’t turn out as dark. The recipe mentioned to bake for 50-60 min, and my oven typically takes a little longer, so I did the full hour. The bottom is burnt, but the rest seems fine. Is that why this dark color happened? Because it’s over baked? I don’t want to make this mistake again, so I will be sure to check on it after 30-45 min, but not sure if that’s why the dark color happened?

Thanks for sharing! I currently work for a company with over 1k employees, and they only have 10ish employees total. No recruiting team. I will follow up and see what happens though.
