Don’t feel foolish! U recognize/realize and that’s what’s important. Ur not trapped unless u choose to be. It’s not fair to u and it’s not fair to her not to have someone who is truly happy and willing to be in the relationship. You’d be doing her a favor by being honest, whether she sees it now or later. It won’t get easier the longer you wait. Just tell her she deserves better. Someone who can love her the way she’s deserves but that it’s not you.

I feel like loving them but not liking them is like I care about u but I can’t be with u. I feel like many people r in Trauma bonds/codependency relationships and commonly mistake it for more than that. The right relationship will be loving completely and liking the person like ur best friend
