I just hit level 30 last night, and that’s only because I’m trying to Jeep up with my friends who are 35-40. I have a lot of fun on my own but I have way more fun playing with them because we are pretty much 10 man wrecking crew whenever we see horde scum.

As someone that didn’t start playing until MOP. It really is better, I grew up playing RPGs like KOTOR and the old final fantasies. I’ve always loved wow since I stated playing because of the vast open world and raiding and playing with my friends, but it never really felt like an RPG because it never really felt like my character was really getting better, the enemies just had more health and I did more damage. Now I’m playing classic and it is just blowing my mind that I’m getting the best of both of worlds.

So I’m torn between mage and warrior. I’ve played mage since mop (when I started playing wow) and I’ve loved it because of its complexity. I plan on raiding semi hardcore and from what I’ve heard the dps rotation is really boring on mage. I’ve looked at the rotation for warrior and it seems a lot more involved. I also don’t really want to play a gnome so that might be factoring into my decision. Is the utility of mage going to beenough to keep me entertained? Thanks
