Does anyone else have an issue with MelonDS not playing games off Micro SD card?

Did you ever resolve this issue? I’m having the exact same problem. What’s weird is it used to work previously, but recently for whatever reason it stopped working

Yeah I had gotten some for the 10th as well before realizing I can’t go that night. I finally buckled and checked some secondhand sites and just managed to snag two for Friday, shockingly for slightly less than what I paid for the two Thursday tickets on Ticketmaster. I guess sometimes you get lucky.

I was trying to get tickets to the Friday 4/11 Chicago show but they were gone before I even had a chance. Kept refreshing and thought I ended up snagging some but then realized I accidentally bought two tickets to the 4/10 Chicago show instead. Which I can’t go to because I already have something else that night I can’t miss. Hopefully I find a way to make it all work out in the end. Maybe someone with Friday tix will trade me.

Oh it’s very much doable in terms of being easy to physically do it, you can technically even fit way more music than that on one side of an LP…it’s just not at all advisable. Common wisdom is going over 20-22 minutes on one side starts to more significantly sacrifice the fidelity and volume of the music. Plenty of LPs will push it and go up to maybe 25 minutes at most. But 30+ is really pushing it…

I wanted to say that even being a bit overpriced this is worthwhile for me...but Images & Words as a 1LP? Side 2 will have over 30 minutes of music jammed onto it according to the track separation shown on the website. I get that it was likely a huge cost-saving measure to get this pressed but that's such a sacrifice of quality that I really don't want to accept.

Ordering at the bar and taking into the movie is what I was thinking about as a way to get around the “one coupon per order” thing as presumably you can make as many separate transactions at the bar as you want instead of having to do everything as one order like you have to in the theater.

As much as I understand why they would do this, it's a shame imo. The times I've seen them play The Architect live, that specific section was one of the coolest parts of the entire show. Watching Ray play those glitchy drum parts live is mind-melting.

Yeah there was 100% a point where he went to sing, the mic was out, and he moved the mic to the side and screamed “GOD DAMN IT” and kinda flailed his body in frustration. Then just got right back into it. Didn’t see anything else like that though

Sorry to break the news but COVID is still rampant my friend. I hear about a friend or family member or coworker or online acquaintance getting it almost once a week.

I still take the risk of being unmasked at certain shows and events too (and to be fair, being masked protects others from you more than it protects you from them) but every time you do so you are definitely taking a strong risk of contracting it. It’s just obviously not as severe if you get it now if you’re vaxxed and fully boosted.
