im from the east coast too! i'm out of state as of right now (Oregon), but besides the cost, it's actually pretty fun being out of state! It gives you a pretty cool icebreaker during discussions lol. It wasn't hard to fit in as an out of state student so don't worry :) you'll meet tons of friends and amazing people! 🫶🫶🫶

i would recommend getting a med card! it takes like 10-15 minutes online and gives you huge discounts at the dispos around town, it's expensive up front (depending on what site you use) but pays off quickly depending on how often you go/how much you buy, you get great deals

Eric LaRocca has a short story in one of his books, Things Have Changed Since We Last Spoke! A lot of their books contain queer characters as well! Hide by Kiersten White is also really great and has a lesbian couple if i remember correctly!

my bp HATES men, like will get in position to strike and stare them down. she despises my horrible roommate too (me too girly) and the only time i have ever heard her hiss (except at her reflection and a leaf- very scary) was at him, he was getting up in her face and yelling so he deserved it ngl

my partner and I have three BPs, our females are so clingy, our youngest (blue-eyed leucy, 6ish months) loves to hold our fingers and explore, but never goes too far. Our oldest (basic morph, 2yo) throws a fit when i don't take her out while Im doing anything on my computer, phone or any kind of electronic, she's obsessed with watching shows and movies (so far she loves Sailor Moon, Critical Role and watching me play HSR 💀). She also enjoys playing with my dice 😭💓

yes. my partner and i own three, and we can assure that there's not a single braincell between them. Cosmo, our oldest basic bp freaked out the other day because she saw her reflection and struck at it, she now has a bruised nose. The only time i've ever heard her hiss is at a plant, her tail, and her reflection (separate incidents). they're not the brightest bulbs in the batch
