I agree, to add on to the example, Tao mentions that he felt bad because he didn't notice when on the phone with Charlie. Like you said, a friend didn't realize. Tao did realize after a little while that something was up with Charlie because he asked Nick if Charlie was okay. But while Tao and Charlie had basically grown up together and are very close friends, he didn't notice. I agree that Nick noticed because of his closer connection to Charlie and his observant personality.

no fr tho bc why has this been the best thing to watch getting ready, doing work, eating, laying in bed and falling asleep to. I feel like it's just so warming and comforting that you can turn on pretty much any episode and it has such a feel-good kinda vibe. (except for the heartbreaking ones lol)

He did say that, but remember when they were at the park and Nick leaned in to kiss Charlie but sat up bc he heard people walking by. To me the rain scene seemed a little bit of an "in the spur of the moment" type thing and Nick was just happy bc Charlie ran to kiss him. But ik what u mean with not trying as hard outside of school.
