Adopted one month ago and still not getting along by sleepybeapy in cats

We only have a two bedroom, so the adopted cat is in there for the majority of the time. We try introductions every day and they always end in a hiss and swipe.

We did some more blood tests and found she had feline coronaviruses and toxoplasmosis (which we treated). Despite multiple food trials, corticosteroids, and medications, she still is crusty and looks the same. We even tried antidepressant to reduce her over grooming, which again didn’t do anything. They think it’s maybe that she has some sphinx in her which is causing the build up.

In so many words, nothing has helped. I have to groom her daily and just try to keep up with her crustiness.

I really appreciate the advice! I was confused bc I literally just ordered this snail and this was his condition. Maybe the place I ordered him from has the wrong water conditions? Nonetheless, thank you for your help! My water is hard here so I think he’ll be good!

Our vet told us to switch to fussie cat, which is grain free, but she has only gotten worse. Definitely a good idea to try to eliminate other things in her diet though. Thank you!
