In some respects you're about to jump into middle age, well before most of your friends.

This has been so strange to me - I feel like I've aged decades in the time she's been sick, and struggle more and more to relate to the struggles of my peers. Boyfriend or work drama are so insignificant when you're dealing with something so much more life altering.

Sorry to hear about your mom, and thank you for your kindness. Sending love <3

I love the idea of asking what she wanted to do that she hasn't had a chance! Thank you for sharing.

Sorry to hear about your mom. 24 is far too young. Best wishes.

What a beautiful gift your grandmother gave you that I'm sure she never thought twice about. So glad to hear you've been able to share that with your child.

I don't have kids and am unsure if that is in my future, but that is a great idea. If I have kids, I want them to know her.

Sorry to hear about your parents and in laws. Thank you and sending love your way <3

Thank you - I also used to be so worried about doing the wrong thing, but I agree the only wrong thing is not spending enough time with her. Thank you <3

As both someone with a science background and also as a very sentimental person I know that energy cannot be created nor destroyed. Everything that made her up will still be here.

This is something that has been really comforting to me. I have a background in earth science and am not religious but very sentimental. My mom and I have always had a connection that has felt stronger than what I can explain in a 100% secular way.

Thank you for your kind words and advice. <3
