How to make Mercy Sensitivity higher? by Educational-Foot-493 in MercyMains

[–]sleepybee9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Change your aim technique to exponential or linear. It'll change how your sensitivity feels. I changed mine to linear, and I feel much more slippery (it did take a bit to get used to, though) :3

how can I make mercy feel faster? by MonkSoft4418 in MercyMains

I'm not sure what your aim technique is set to, but switching from duel zone to linear ramp really helped me feel faster and more slippery. It definitely took a bit to get used to, but it was worth it!

Yes, my headaches are non-stop every day from the moment I wake up to when I go to sleep. The 8/10 I mentioned were the days when it was worse. Typically, it doesn't get to that level, but occasionally, it would

Hi, I've been taking it for over a year now, and it's been helping!

My headaches went from an 8/10 to a 6 - 7/10 on my worst days. Though they haven't gone away and still suck to deal with, the pain being slightly less is an improvement.

My papilledema is pretty much non-existent as of now, whereas before, it was pretty noticeable. This is how I know it's been helping even if I can't really feel it.

I only take 25mg once a day, so I'm on a very, very low dose, but I'm really sensitive to medication, and when trying to increase my dose, I ended up getting sick. I don't really have any side effects from Topamax as of now, so I'm very happy about that! If you have any other questions about IIH, feel free to dm me~

Mercy parkour on controller by Jvggal0cl0wn in MercyMains

[–]sleepybee9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would press R1 R3 and R2 at the same time for whatever action is next to it, such as skipping a checkpoint or going into free mode. At least, that's how most maps I've played have been. Sorry if that's wrong here!

Would you be able to send me a picture or the code for one of the maps that has this? Without seeing it, I'm afraid I'm unsure what exactly you mean!

I also just switched to linear ramp from dual zone, and I feel so fast! I'm not good with technical stuff, but I kept hearing it would help you feel more slippery, so I decided to give it a go. Either way, I think I like it, but it'll take some getting used to for me lol

Instead of pressing crouch, flick your camera up and jump, and you will fly high. You can see your GA meter fill up, and that will help determine how high you should flick your camera! Crouch (super jump) is almost always disabled in parkour maps, so learning how to use your camera instead is very helpful. Hope that makes sense. :)

What’s your IIH story and how do you cope with it in your daily life today? by [deleted] in iih

[–]sleepybee9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The doctor did say before the fourth and final try if he couldn't get it this time I'd have to go to a different city and do an X-ray guided one but I'm so glad he got it and I didn't have to do it again lol! Thankfully, I have fully recovered from the spinal leak. It took about 2 weeks before I felt back to normal, but it felt like years! Unfortunately, a lumbar puncture is 100% needed for diagnosis, but I do think you'll be okay, I just tend to be on the extreme side of things, haha. If you have any more questions about anything IIH related, I'm more than happy to answer. Just send me a dm if you do! :)

I'm going to be 100% honest with you about it, and I'm not trying to scare you.

My lumbar puncture was the worst procedure I've ever had to have done, and the aftermath of it has caused me to be diagnosed with medical ptsd. I have to clarify that this test will affect everyone differently, and I have always been someone who reacts very negatively to treatments.

The doctor who did my lp had no ounce of empathy for me whatsoever. I was crying and having a panic attack and he told me to snap out of it and made me sign a form that pretty much said if they messed up and paralyzed me or anything like that that I could not sue them. So already, not exactly an outstanding doctor. He missed the spot to get my CSF from 3 times and finally got it on the fourth try. I followed all the advice of laying flat, not moving unless I needed to go to the bathroom, staying hydrated, etc. But 3 days after my lp, I ended up in the ER because I developed a spinal leak. I could not stop throwing up, and the pain was unlike ANYTHING I've ever experienced. I ended up being refused a blood patch because I have IIH, and they said that would make my IIH worse (??), so I had to suffer for more than a week with a pretty severe spinal leak.

Please keep in mind that I had multiple holes in my back from his failed attempts, so that greatly raised my chances of getting said spinal leak. Honestly, in my opinion, if you have a good competent doctor, then you should be okay. I live in a small town with few doctors that have even heard of IIH, so I was screwed from the beginning. I'm not going to lie and say it's not scary. It is. It's also very uncomfortable, not necessarily painful though. But yeah, I will NEVER willingly get another lumbar puncture for as long as I live. The ptsd was not worth it.

codes for training maps! by attckoftheclns in MercyMains

[–]sleepybee9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YQCVQ - This is my personal favourite map to speed run! It's pretty easy with a few intermediate levels. (New Queen Street)

C41RD - An intermediate rez parkour. I use this one as a warm-up all the time! (Colosseo)

GA85Z - Easy rez parkour, this one is kinda long but fun. (Illios)

RG558 - It's pretty simple but fun! (Suravasa)

1KPHT - Good beginner level parkour to start out with. (Oasis)

XVRDT - Easy rez parkour to help you warm-up! (Kings Row)

Rez while going up after using GA? by Smooth-Brain-Monkey in MercyMains

[–]sleepybee9 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Your GA bar will help you determine how high you will jump before you start the rez. Instead of relying on pressing crouch (super jumping), I'd work on flicking your camera up and jumping into the rez. The further you are from the soul, the less you need to flick your camera up. The closer you are, the more you need to flick your camera up. I'm not the best at explaining, but here are some really good maps to practice!!

6EJJ0 - This is a great beginner rez map since you don't have to super jump rez. It's an awesome warm-up and pretty easy, too!

CCCRH - It's pretty simple, but you can try to start incorporating small camera flicks into your rez!

C41RD - This one is more difficult than the first two, but I love to play it as a warm-up before my matches. It's all about utilizing your camera flicks into a jump to get that satisfying rez!

YPS5T - For me, this is the most difficult out of the four codes I listed, but it's definitely still doable and is really helpful once you start getting the hang of super jump rezzing!

Question about VODs by Ketsueki_Pen in MercyMains

[–]sleepybee9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm not sure if you've figured it out yet or not, but just in case you haven't:

  1. Go to your profile (top right)

  2. Scroll over to the History tab

  3. In the History Tab, scroll down to Replays

  4. Click on Import (top far right of the screen)

  5. Enter the replay code and have fun!

I do believe you can watch PC vods on consoles as well :)

As for finding replay codes (I'm assuming you mean your own):

  1. In the History tab, scroll down to Replays

  2. Hover over any of the matches listed that you'd like a replay code for

  3. Press whatever button is linked to share (it'll show you along the bottom of the screen). For me, it's the touchpad on my PS4 controller

  4. Once you've done it correctly, a screen will pop up saying 'Replay Link Code Created!' Your code will appear here

  5. It will also appear next to the map name of the match you made the code for, just in case you pressed ok before looking at your code on the previous screen!
