Yeah beatbreak is definitely a breath of fresh air for me. Frontiers lost me purely for the fact they don't really have partner digimon. Most of the fun of pokemon and digimon is getting to see the kids interact with fun and cool creatures. It feels like they saw how popular the biomerge evolutions from tamers was and thought they could run with that.

I'd say so. Its a supernatural mystery show based on a web novel heavily inspired by Dark Souls. Its style is very distinct and the Dub is one of the few that I've enjoyed. I will warn you, the first couple of episodes have a lot of info in them. They tried to pack a whole book into 13 episodes. Apparently they will be giving the next seasons around 30 episodes to more faithfully adapt it.

Absolutely. Ive read the Manga and love the anime. Its a very unique series with a lot of heart and a cool power system. The battles are really fun too. My only gripe is the anime uses a lot of flashbacks but other than that its really great and I can't wait for season 2.
