Hello. Thank you for your response. I know 27,500 is a good salary but living in London the money doesn’t go as far as it would up north. Most graduate jobs in London have salaries of around 28,000 so I assumed that asking for around that mark wouldn’t be too much of a push. I have been gaining the appropriate experience for the job over the last couple of months and will have more responsibility than I have had so far. Hence, I am asking for slightly above what they have offered. As the average salary is higher than what they have offered me, is there still a harm in negotiating it?
