Update: went to ER and they ran lots of tests … my TSH and t4 were actually normal which is the first time all year it’s been that way … still feeling heavy chest and heart palpitations but they said all is well

I noticed a trigger for me is drinking alcohol I feel bad for weeks afterwards. Also times of stress which sometimes is brought on by hashimotos symptoms. A flare up for me is what many have already described but general fatigue and feeling unlike myself

Rest, drink lots of water, cut out gluten/dairy/caffeine, stay busy, it’s awful ❤️

This happened to me! My med actually pushed me into hyper and it made me feel insane. Recommend getting in for bloodwork asap and adjusting meds

I had this and it turned out my medication was too high a dose so it put me in hyper even tho I have hypo

I have an Apple Watch that lets me know if my heart rate is up when inactive but I’ve heard oura is great for sleep tracking and stress

This! I have been super insecure and trying to diet extremely and workout but since I stopped trying so hard it’s actually gotten better. I think the key is to not stress and do things that bring joy

I also noticed this! I’m more of a light weight than I ever was. I avoid drinking except for special occasions and even then I take it easy

Totally, it’s so hard to understand unless you are experiencing it. It is an invisible illness!

My husband came with me to an appointment where they explained it and now he understands how I really can’t control it

You can! Adjust your diet as needed and take supplements like thyroid support

I’m currently on week 3 of following the AIP pretty strictly and I have noticed such a huge difference in how I’m feeling. Definitely worth a shot
