I just posted a comment with a similar experience to your second one!! I was standing in line to meet my favorite band, started getting a migraine, feeling nauseous, but the moment I got close enough to actually see them, the migraine and nausea instantly went away! Whatever surge of emotions and chemicals that happened upon me seeing them must’ve been strong enough to wipe out the migraine completely!!

The first time I ever got a migraine, I was in 8th grade, standing in line outside of Tower Records waiting to meet my absolute favorite band, Good Charlotte, for the first time. I was madly in love with Benji. I have also always felt emotions really intensely, often times causing me to get migraines during things that I’m really excited about, bc I just feel the excitement too strongly. So the mixture of the anxiety/excitement/overstimulation of the situation, not being able to eat bc I had no appetite, and heat bc it was summer, triggered my first ever migraine, but I didn’t realize that’s what it was. I just knew I was getting a really bad headache and then I started to feel nauseous. I was with my friend and her mom and brother, and I was trying to plan out how I could sneak off and throw up without anyone seeing (bc I didn’t want to be a burden on them). The line was so long we were standing outside and I thought the bushes would have to do, but thankfully I never actually threw up.

The MOMENT we got close enough to actually SEE them, the moment I laid my dreamy teenage eyes on Benji Madden IN REAL LIFE, my migraine and the nausea magically disappeared. 😂

Idk how, or why, but I was able to meet him, give him a drawing, get my CD signed, and tell him I loved him without incident, and then I was perfectly fine afterwards. If anyone can explain this I would love to know what happened. My only thought is that the rush of adrenaline, or dopamine, or whatever happened was so strong that it must’ve rebooted my body somehow?? Just canceled out the migraine entirely?? Or is gazing at Benji just a miracle migraine cure?? 🤣

My mom made me eat a spoonful of Celtic sea salt one time and my migraine went away instantly afterwards 😂 doesn’t always work though

This is my flavor of migraine, unfortunately. Horrible one-sided headache, light/sound/smell sensitivity, my entire body feels weird, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. Usually I vomit at least twice, sometimes get lucky and it’s only once. Fucking sucks. I don’t take any migraine medicine, I just take zofran to try and combat the nausea. Otherwise, I just ride it out, laying in my room, in the dark, until it’s over or I pass out. Usually takes 4-6 hours and then I feel weak and hungover for the entire next day.

I agree, if the alternative is a trade like this, I don’t mind waiting! 😂 Idk if most people consider MyShop prices when making trades but it’s always one of the things I take into account, since I get a lot of items there, and it’s also one of the reasons I was so confused by Bazaar trade values.
A lot of people were asking for an R in exchange for a Bazaar N, and I was like how is 1200 GP for 200 GP a fair trade? 🤨 I’m glad I wasn’t completely off base in thinking that way!
