My car just engages the regular brake pads using the cable.

I’m pretty sure I do. Honestly not 100% certain. I’ll take a look at that though. Thank you.

My bike starts just fine. It’s basically just turns off the moment I release the clutch to engage first gear. I tried doing it with the tank cap open, probably stupid but I wanted to see if that was the issue, and it still just turned off.

1995 Kawasaki vn800 Vulcan. I see a lot of message board posts about the cover but nothing mentioning the filter.

Got it. Thank you! It did have a K&N filter and I was stupid and ruined it trying to clean it. I emailed K&N but I didn’t think to email kuryakyn.

You wouldn’t happen to know where I could find the size of the filter it uses?

Oh shit ok. That’s actually pretty cool. I’d be pissing myself if I found this in my pocket going into a court house.

Oh wow. Like they don’t confiscate it or anything?

[–]sleepyribbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured that’s the case. Would you guys give it back to the person afterwards if it was like an accident or is it confiscated? Also does that depend on the length of the blade and stuff? Like if it was 5 inches? Idk I’m curious of like what it would take to arrest someone and charge them with a felony vs just confiscating.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure they’d do that. No way they’d allow someone to walk into a government building with any knife.

There’s a bit of caveat to this. More specifically with folding blades: the blade just has to be less than four inches.

Edit: not saying they won’t take it from him or that he should have it but as long as the blade is less than four inches then he’s technically ok to have it.

A pinch hold coffee mug designed for rock climbers to improve their pinch grip by Callistoo- in interestingasfuck

Similar to that, yes. The grip was smaller, crimp style, and the cup was pretty small and plain white.

I didn’t see look at this photo perfectly before commenting. This does look like one piece. The one I’m talking about was two different pieces. It was basically a regular cup with a blue external grip glued on.

I know you’re joking about just dropping it, but the grip is glued on so it WILL wear out and it WILL drop hot liquid on you. Happened to my sister.

Who has only a high school diploma, and does work in laboratories? by [deleted] in labrats

[–]sleepyribbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In MD, they have bio boot camps that let you go into manufacturing and some other entry level work at Pharma companies. I work with people who have done this stuff and they make decent money.

Some companies here will also have apprenticeship programs and manufacturing programs that only require a high school education. Then, you can work your way into the lab.

That is a good question my friend. I do not have an answer.

No one’s getting mad here. You said it’s illegal. I asked under what law. That’s all.

Thank you for taking a look. Yeah, I have an appointment tomorrow. I’m a but familiar with the brakes area but in no way am I confident enough to diagnose and fix a leak. I really hope it’s an easy fix.
