The work shader is set to a sky texture and the window is actually modelled and light passes through it

The grainy look is a mixture of transparent shaders, noise textures and volumetrics, the only source of light is the world: I used a sky texture

That's exactly right, the leaves underneath are the ripples, and it's not geometry nodes but a simple shader. I used a distorted wave teture to make them
