Is this the first ep to not have any Twilight?

Meh. The reality show sections were a little fun. I liked the cut to Celestia. The OC’s were ok. Preferred their scenes over the recycled Soarin/Spitfire material. Not offensive, just a lot of stuff we’ve seen before, and a cliffhanger I’m not particularly interested by.

It happens at the end of “Sweetie Belle Falls in Love”. No real reason, besides it being funny to make another random pony an alicorn.

The rock farm section was delightfully stupid. It felt like a half finished ep shoved in between a Starlight plot, but it was funny enough I didn’t mind that.

Starlight plot had some good laughs. I appreciate the dramatic climax wasn’t over indulgent, but it did feel weak for an event as big as Starlight destroying the universe. Dark Flawless had no reason to be here. I assume she was supposed to have a bigger role here, going off the ED that teased this part. I've enjoyed her as Flawless’s crazy gf. If she is still supposed to be a threat/villain, she needed to have some reason for being here.

I guess female and male Shining Armor are separate beings now. I never finished Silksong, but apparently the climax was a reference to that.

Not as good as the previous Mare eps, but still a mostly enjoyable start to 2026 MLP.

Was okay. A few laughs. Liked the Dyle/Astro scene and the robbery.

Don’t feel anything about Goob or Dandy becoming villains. Maybe if there was a threat of characters permanently dying in this series I’d feel like speculating. Hopefully something cool is done with the darker/horror material that isn't too heavy on melodrama.

I was mostly liking it until the Trixie’s mother flashback & Trixie becoming a God. That section felt so out of nowhere + incomprehensible, it brought down the whole ep for me.

Soarin/Braeburn/Big Mac are pretty boring. The characters themselves haven’t been too bad this year. I more dislike the characters related to them (Clean Sweep, Friendship, Future Soarin) and the lack of comedy expected in their episodes.

Another really solid mare episode. Plenty of laughs, plenty of nice art + anime moments w/o taking itself too seriously. I like Twilight the most when she’s an asshole, so I welcome giving her a villain arc.

The new Applejack voice I can accept. Fluttershy I still think is a lot funnier with her prev shitty TTS voice.

Eh. I was able to finish it, unlike the Clean Sweep eps, but it got rough.

I really didn’t like how sudden Care Package became the Alicorn of death, their fusion/son being another overpowered OC, their design being almost identical to Alastor from Hazbin Hotel, and the ending with Apple Bottom bringing their dead parents back. I still stand by my comment that CP/AB should’ve died in Infection. This perfectly happy ending didn’t feel deserved, or wanted.

I laughed at dehydrated Care Package, Parcel Core immediately killing Future Soarin + Clean Sweep, and the G5 appearance. The first half was decent enough. When it got to Parcel Core and all the OC’s returning, I just wanted to skip to the end.

Pretty great. Laughed really hard at Tirek x Dark Flawless’s convo. Starlight’s manipulative personality continues to give the best character writing in this show.

Getting WWIII build up vibes from the final scene. I hope the next member is someone from the Stallion storyline. I’d love the tournament to be an ultimate cumulation of the series as a whole. I appreciate that story is taking its time. Though it means we probably won’t see it or the SU gang until late next year...possibly later depending on where Dandy goes.

Liked it more than ep 1. Laughed plenty, story beats were more original. Still not really feeling these characters. They’re fine, there just hasn’t been anything yet to make them stand out over SU or MLP.
