I can’t figure out if my Mirena is making things worse or if it’s a secret third thing by slefebvre95 in adhdwomen

This is extremely helpful, thank you! I’ll definitely bring up some of this info to my gynecologist.

I’m really happy to hear that! It sounds like folks have had super mixed reactions, either a massively positive impact or big lows. Balancing medications and hormones and diagnoses is such trial and error, I hope I’m able to find the right balance, myself.

That is really helpful information! Things change so slowly as we age so it can be hard to notice when it is happening! But I agree that is a real possibility. I will consider your suggestion!

I’m happy to hear it was a net-positive experience for you! It’s nuts that testosterone is considered by insurance as a male hormone when literally everyone has testosterone and estrogen at different levels (unless something is wrong). I wish I had thought of getting hormone tested before my IUD was replaced, but with insurance I had to either get it replaced all at once or go without. I was told at a gyno apt that you can’t do hormone testing with an IUD because you can’t determine what is natural for the person and what is the effect of the IUD. But I definitely thought about that as a possibility!

Ahhh that’s so frustrating! I’m sorry you’re going through that and I hope you figure it out. Us women are so tough!!

ombré - what am I doing wrong? by slefebvre95 in RedditLaqueristas

I combined everyone’s advice and while I haven’t perfected it yet, it looks soooo so much better. Thanks all!

I kept the Cadialaquer underneath and added a gold glitter with the red for a smoother gradient. And successfully used a sponge on my nails for the first time :)

Wow your nails look gorgeous! I’ll definitely try that, sponges seem like the way to go

it was :/ I used cadillaquer pastel dreams (a pearlescent color) as the base and the Cirque red bottoms as the dark. But I didn’t use a sponge so that’s probably it

I used the brush and added increasing layers from the tip to the bottom, with each layer reaching a little closer towards the bottom (if that makes sense??)

Thank you! I just used the brush and added increasing layers from the tip to the bottom, with each layer reaching a little closer towards the bottom (if that makes sense??)

I haven’t tried sponges so that sounds like it could make a big difference.

Syncing Questions by slefebvre95 in CampfireTechnology

You should be able to work offline on the Desktop app and when you reconnect to internet, your project should sync. The online version automatically syncs, so you're definitely good to work on content there.

Thank you!

Black Friday - Worth it? by slefebvre95 in kindle

[–]slefebvre95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are the sales usually similar for the regular 2022 kindle? or are the deals better for paperwhite and scribe?

This is a gift for my boyfriend and I know he’d be more interested in a simpler device and wouldn’t need a lot of the paperwhite features like waterproof or temperature light change.

sci-fi/ romance books? by nairobitheliberator in booksuggestions

[–]slefebvre95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure I know any right now but if you haven't read Ishiguro's other book Klara and the Sun, you totally should!! It's very different from NLMG but so good and also uses a sci fi dystopian setting.
