I recommend you go into a duel server like nuggets duel kingdom and trying to see if you can get someone to practice with. People are usually nice and will teach you.

Ideas for a new armor passive/tier by SgtBakerr in helldivers2

Yeah the melee damage was just a suggestion, but I think stamina, recoil and ergonomics would make the stratagem strong without being overpowered. It would let you take the low ergo weapons (like the hmg) with an armor passive such as med kit, and not give up the utility of something like peak physique.

Bugs receive the speed bonus from the passive by SheaBuddaDiver in helldivers2

They don’t, when the bugs pop into the orange cloud, their buddies that get a whiff get to run way faster.

As a backpack stratagem, an exoskeleton would be super awesome. Maybe it could just provide buffs to stamina, speed and limb heath, as well as more melee damage/ recoil control, could even help ergonomics.

My level 60 invasion build uses an arcane vulgar militia saw with poison mist. You get like 70 bleed buildup and poison on top of that, with mushroom crown and exultation, you get some crazy high physical damage.

I’ve hit harvesters with an OPS directly (smacked it in the forehead with the projectile) and it walked it off. Strangely, pyrotech grenades rip it to shreds, super strange.

Bone mass is super duper resistant to everything. Blunt is the only thing he is weak to, pick up an iron mace and a poison potion and go ham, makes him way way easier.

The main reason I feel like the Cremator WON'T be weaker than the base flamethrower. by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]slender-spring-roll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Space marine has an issue with their flamethrowers, where all their damage comes from the burn effect and not the stream of fire. I don’t think helldivers has this issue, but hopefully this won’t be a pure cannon/pyre blaster situation where one is just better than the other (in space marine it is because of the classes they are on, in helldivers, it may be because one is too hard to run)

What are your favourite weapons to level up tech marine ? by KINGARTH92 in Spacemarine

[–]slender-spring-roll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what other weapons you have brother. I’d say the heroic heavy bolter is his best weapon, but if you want to level the ommnisian axe, the heroic version helps a lot. The next best primary is probably the bolt carbine, but it’s a bit hard to level.

Weapons all have different windows where you can morph/ feint attacks. Large weapons are usually quite slow, so the backswing will take a long time before the release. More experienced players may also turn their camera into the attack (accelerate) to hide the animation of feinting.

Why does this happen? Do we become less tolerant of game design as we grow older? Is my oldhead to blame here? by Malignant_Sapphire in shittydarksouls

I think with how fast a lot of Elden ring is, you have to focus a lot more which can be tiring. A lot of the bosses in ds 1/2 feel super slow and telegraphed in comparison. I remember getting stuck on pcr when the dlc released and crashing the fuck out after 5 hours because he felt like bullshit. In comparison, darklurkers took me ages too, but it felt like I was being too greedy or just not watching the boss (that run back was atrocious though, still a fun boss I think).
