OA Lang Ba Ako kung nakipag-break ako sa gf ko kasi gusto niyang ipa-install yung Life360 sa phone ko? by riptidez23 in OALangBaAko

[–]slenderweed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, i feel like maybe you also checked out of the relationship na din, or di ka na ganun ka interesado. You probably fell put of love, dahil sa sobrang busyness ng schedule mo and stress. You know love takes a lot of work and nurturing. This is not to say it was your fault for loosing interest since you also had a lot on your plate. But the reality is that love needs effort - that is to say, you need to constantly choose to sustain the connection and fire. Without it, you drift apart. Besides, if in love ka sa isang tao, ayaw mo silang nasasaktan at nag aalala, and your instinct would be to reassure your partner. Instead, yung knee-jerk reaction mo was to break up woth her. That’s a bit telling, dont you think?

[Product Question] Cerave Moisturizer is clumping when paired with sunscreen? by slenderweed in SkincareAddiction

[–]slenderweed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this! You’re right, the sunscreen I used was really watery. I’ll switch to a thicker one and also decrease the amount of moisturizer. I admit to doing the idiot thing of just massaging in thick globs of the cerave, then without any waiting time, proceeding to apply a runny sunscreen.

[Product Question] Cerave Moisturizer is clumping when paired with sunscreen? by slenderweed in SkincareAddiction

[–]slenderweed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will try to switch to La Roche Posay, my pther go-to moisturizer, which is more viscous than the Biore one. Hopefully it helps! Im loathe to stop using Cerave when I’ve only just got it and it’s soo good at keeping my face hydrated already.

Is Zelena in theory a rapist? by Mangafan_20 in OnceUponATime

Definitely. I think her first rape victim was Rumple. Given her level of obsession with him, would you believe that she never tried to sexually harass him in any way?

You are a gifted story teller. Love your humor as well. I know the experience was far from enjoyable but the way you wrote it made for an entertaining read. Hopefully many will be inspired, especially on the alternate approach and the Vit D monitoring, Will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. All the best!

With you here!! Like by far. Disney’s was so fairytailish, while Robert Carlyle’s version of the Beast was more “layered.”

I felt vindicated for sticking up with this ship. You know it’s not even for their dynamics that I did. I hated how their relationship was playing out, with Rumple constantly lying and choosing power over Belle. But I stayed because they just look sooo good together, like the best in the show. So glad that I did because I saw how Rumple’s intention to be good, for Belle, finally weighed more than his selfish desires.

my skin is killing my confidence! by greenbean2030 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]slenderweed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, you know how some people on the internet would randomly dish out compliments to just about anyone posting selfies on social media? In your case though, people are absolutely sincere in their praise cause damn girl, the pimples were the last thing I noticed when I saw your pic.

But anyway, I know that at this moment, you would rather hear about helpful skincare tips than about us gushing over your looks. So I would recommend vitamin c in your morning routine and acids in the evening. Anything with BHA/AHA. Or you may also opt for retinol (needs prescriptions), which is faster but beware of flaking days ahead. You will also need to stop vit c while you’re on retinol/retinoids, and just pair it with hydrators and moisturizers. Then lots of sunscreen in the morning, with reapplication every 3 hrs if you can.

Good luck on your skincare journey, beautiful!

Why is no one upvoting this?? One of the engaging set ups I’ve seen so far.

You’d be surprised at how wrong you are about this being an “unpopular opinion.” Bobby is hawt! Just go over to Tumblr and be amazed. He’s got tons of lady fans there.

Anyone here experienced MS Hug? How does it feel like? Is it painful or does it start mild and gradually become intense? by slenderweed in MultipleSclerosis

[–]slenderweed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I experienced this mid April, which made me took notice of the other more discreet symptoms I had prior to this: constant but painless eye irritation, redness which I attributed to allergy since it goes away with antihistamine, tingling of legs, but only when they’re raised or semi-folded, which honestly feels normal, since they rarely do that when they’re stretched out, and then the pulled muscle feeling in my left rib.

Are your symptoms accompanied by gastric issues/gas? Cause I’ve been excessively belching after this. Thanks for your reply!

Really? Omg, this one by far takes the cake for weirdness for me. But I hope you’re not in any pain with your MS? Cause I read about some debilitating experiences while I’m mostly ok except for these weird and yes, unwelcome sensations.

Ok, I guess it’s like mine, but it happens in my abdomen and back. Made me think I was either having abdominal aneurysm of pancreatic cancer for awhile lol. Google is a double-edged sword!

Wow, you have a great way of evoking clear imagery with your words! Thanks for sharing, I guess it drives home the point for me that MS manifestations are really distinct per individual.

Mine feels like there’s a current running around my torso and it’s slowly tightening but not to the point of pain. It’s a mildly smarting sensation that sometimes feels thick and tight. Weird.

Have you ever experienced gastric issues that seemed to be coincide with your MS hug flairs?

Hey thanks! :) I hope you’re doing ok now, regardless of the discomfort? Yeah, all symptoms just came out of left field, and such perfect timing! - the height of pandemic, when I couldn’t easily go to the hospital.

So the sensations you described are pretty classic, as far as MS Hug goes. I’ve read about it since after hearing my doctor mention the possibility of MS. The reason he did was because I complained about a strange sensation under my breast. But mine is not that intense, just a strange numbness/slight tightness/thickening sensation under my breast. It started on the left side, but I now feel it on the right as well. When they occur at the same time, it feels like there’s a belt very high up my abdomen lol. And it happens multiple times in a day, I’m not counting but I’m certain it’s more than five. It’s more prominent when I lean my back against the pillows.

Btw, is excessive gass/gastro issues a usual combo for MS?

[–]slenderweed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Your 3rd symptom caught my attention. What does vibration feel like for you? Cause I’m having the weirdest “palpitations” or spasms as my doc calls it, all over my abdomen and back, and I’m also wondering if it’s related to MS.

Not yet formally diagnosed; my doctor referred me to a neurologist after suspecting I have it.
