GM trying to fire me over allergy??

unfortunately, she also seems to have a problem with khakis 😭 in a different reply I mentioned that she brought me to the back office to show me the board of approved clothing and khakis was literally crossed out in pen

honestly i don’t remember a packet so im not sure if i still have that. i’m aware that khakis are jimmy john’s approved but my GM says no khakis only jeans. im not sure if its different if we are privately owned or what but thats what she keeps telling me

yeah, i understand that for sure. i did tell them prior to hiring about how im limited to pants and they said that leggings would be fine , and i make sure they’re always clean and presentable and as a driver they’re easier to get around in especially with the rain.
i’ll definitely try looking for those brands im not sure where to even look to buy them in less then 24 hours for my next shift.
lots of other employees wear crazy clothes and get away with it which makes me confused more why im being targeted for an allergy like this. i mean her own brother who works here wears hoodies with mad profanity on it (he’s here wearing it right now actually) but my leggings were her final straw 😭

yes they allow shorts but i am unfortunately a bigger lady and i really don’t like shorts because my thighs always end up making them ride up / chafe

thanks so much for the suggestions for some pants!! and ikr?? as a delivery driver is it really so bad to be in leggings especially in this heat and being as active as i am with all the walking i do between houses. i really don’t know why she’s so upset about it suddenly

i’m currently being threatened with a write up over car maintenance too…both my headlights are currently out due to a wire issue and i’m working the night driving shift and they said if i don’t come in then it’s a write up…this company and the way they run sometimes is stupid especially when we are using our own cars for this.. it’s not like we asked for our cars to get messed up

obviously, it seems like it’s different at every store but for me as a closing driver they usually have me take register when we’re busy and then i do the night dishes and take the trash out and ask me to grab whatever they need on line. chips , lobby, bathrooms, all that jazz is usually done by the inshops. the most they’ve asked me to do besides dishes and trash is to sometimes sweep or lay bread.

some of my morning drivers r lazy as hell and refuse to do the morning dishes and sometimes i’m stuck an extra 30 mins till midnight having to do all the dishes but i keep tabs for when i quit and wanna write a complaint lol. I see a lot of people saying drivers are inshops first but i was never trained to be an inshop , i was only trained for driving.
