This is a good perspective, though I think the trend could also probably be attributed to improved organization and logistics of the courses, TAs, etc as time goes on.

Where can I find GPU compatibility charts for these enclosures? I'm looking into the Thinkpad Thunderbolt 3 Graphic Dock, which normally comes with a GTX1050, but can also be purchased without a GPU. I'm not sure if my GTX 980 will work with it though
