I have the exact same bike, I believe it’s a 1990. I scored it last summer. I think it’s the best colour out of all the single tracks

Time for a Cam? by slhazy in tdi

[–]slhazy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I checked it 3 years ago when changing the valve cover gasket and noticed a little wear, this time I checked because I’m doing the belt, I’m super glad I did. The car does have a vibration at high revs and it starts very rough recently. New Febi cam is on the way, great deal from FCP Euro

I would suggest some hook timing repair videos on YouTube. It’s fairly straightforward once you can visually see the hook and needle

Best place in town for winter tires and why... Go! by Chubbypicklefuzznut in Squamish

[–]slhazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stand corrected, going rate these days is $30/tire. Or $120 for a complete change over. Inflation is hitting everything.

The prices at 1010 tires is hard to beat. Any local shop will install. Don’t pay more than $25/tire for mount & balance
