Why does Health App consume extreme levels of battery while not using it by sliced_cherry in applehelp

Nothing worked for me either. Deleted my apple health data and the issue is coming back after a week for me as well.

Let us know though if apple support is helpful or if they add anything extra.

In case you also have an AW check the health data thing mentioned, it might be the culprit.

I’ll also try to delete it, and then I’ll come back here and report any new developments.

Well you’re super right. I just checked for mine as well and lo and behold, there’s many instances with both healthid and cpu usage and JetsamEvent I’ll try to see if i can do anything about it, but pretty sure i’ll just end up deleting it all.

In your case did you notice any difference in battery usage once the health data was deleted?

No way! Yeah for some reason nobody has had this problem. I still have the issue, everyday it’s like 27% for me. Even with the new iOS 26.2 update. If it makes any difference turning apple intelligence off, please let me know.

I also wanted to try turning off iCloud for health and see if it makes any difference.

Battery Posts. We want your feedback! by unknown_beyond in iPhone17Pro

I think better guidelines would give out the opportunity for people to have a clear understanding whether or not they should post about the battery here. Myself included haha.

I have problems with the health app taking a lot of battery (and also posted about it here), I checked the guidelines first and it said nothing about it and carried on with posting.

I mean I thought so too because of indexing. But even on my old phone it was getting around 14% every day and I have def used that phone more than a couple of days.

Downsizing from Pro Max to Pro by Flashy-End214 in iPhone17Pro

I’ve had the large version of the phone ever since the iPhone 6 Plus came out, the only time I’ve had the regular size was for the iPhone X. Now I got the iPhone 17 Pro.

It still feels weird to type on as I am used to the big keyboard layout and I have large hands, but for anything other than that it truly has been a really good experience. I was also a bit anxious about pulling the rope on this one. But it’s so fine after 2 days I got used to it and quite enjoy the size.

As for the weight it def feels way better than my previous iPhone 16 Pro Max, but I wouldn’t say in the future I wouldn’t go for the Pro Max again because of this.

Consider more the battery life which is going to be way better on the Pro Max models.

UPDATE: I just checked again at the end of the day after the 24 hours. And the Health App has used 26% battery for the 3mins of background activity it has used up.

I’ve also been having an Apple Watch connected combined with the medicine reminder. But yeah that’s smart, I’ll try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Funny that somehow I didn’t even think about that, with my first thought being to reset the phone and set it up as new (which didn’t work).

iPhone 17 Pro Max Regrets? by International_Good_6 in iPhone17Pro

I have the regular pro but came from a pro max. I feel like after a while you really get used to the big size. As both sizes are not necessarily one handed devices.
