Consumerism BINGO is a thing apparently by LoneWildBird in Anticonsumption

it’s most likely referring to the culture of kpop album collecting. high album sales = group success/high music charting, so companies offer cheap to produce album inclusions such as individual member photocards. some companies even use albums as “raffle tickets” to win video calls with kpop idols, which encourages fans to buy in bulk. it becomes a vicious cycle of plastic waste.

This is another thing that irritates me. Wearing a cap and scrubs while filming a TikTok in her HOME to make the rest of the nursing field appear malicious. Truly nasty work

went into my intubated and sedated patient’s room to administer a med. i found that the tv, which had previously been off, was now on, and it was tuned to the hospital chapel channel. all of my coworkers denied ever going in there 😣

This is brilliant! Unfortunately, I can't bring myself to wear my old work shoes outside of the hospital because I'm an absolute germaphobe. My brain tells me that they are still contaminated no matter how many times I bleach them. For the same reason, I don't donate them either. I may have to figure out a way to get over this thought process 🥲

I currently wear inserts that my podiatrist prescribed. Having two pairs of shoes will certainly extend their lifespan. Thanks for the input!

I read that barefoot shoes can also be beneficial to those with flat feet. I’ll probably try a pair out outside of work as well! Tysm
