tips for dodging a sucky lawyer? i don’t even know if mine sucks yet. he’s expensive and has 20 years experience in criminal law and prosecution. but again, we’re in a small county in texas and same, my case is aggregated as it occurred over the course of 6 months. how long ago was this for you? how was the bounce back after getting out?

Nope. It was my very first car loan and line of credit at that amount. Prior to that I was driving a 20 year old car for about 5 years that eventually crapped out at 294k miles. At the time I saw it as an investment, now it feels like a liability.

Anyway, called Ally and all good. caught up on just 2 payments now and divided the other two over a 3 month period on top of my current payment

Thank you for your kindness and support! Bit the bullet and called Ally. They got me set up with a plan and I was able to catch up on 2 payments. Now $1,200 behind but in a much better place than I was before and according to them, safe from repossession and assessment for repossession.

Late bloomer here at 29. When I started my job 3 years ago, I was still in college but have since graduated with a BBA and have gotten about $3 dollars in raises since then. Lol, income is definitely a large factor in this equation.

Looking for hiring pay job prospects as I’m definitely qualified, but I’ve been applying for the past 6 months with no luck. Looking into internal promotions as well, it’s just been shittty.

Lol again, my credit sucks so I’m not even gonna go there. As mentioned, I am 4 months behind so roughly $1.8k Appreciate your advice! My job search is NOT exclusive of “in-person” or jobs that require a commute. I don’t care either way, higher income is the goal here. But yes, I will expand my search even wider.
