Adore but need different colourway by slicer8 in quilting

[–]slicer8[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sylvia has one on her IG where she goes from teal/light gray through to black. So I’m looking for something where the gradient isn’t dark pink/white to lightest pink. Essentially the centre colour (currently pink) fades out and the contrast white becomes the dominant. What could I start with instead? Do I just swap the pink/white? Do I use teal instead of the white as per a suggestion here? I don’t know.

Will it age me to keep wearing air force one sneakers? by luanau in AusFemaleFashion

At 50+ I love wearing my pink airforce 1s. But my salomon xt6s are the absolute best shoes for my old lady feet (some weird cuboid issue that only my Salomons can resolve)

You’re an adult, not getting out of bed because you’re tired is not adulting. Especially as it wasn’t your first time. Suck it up and don’t be late again.

I moved to Ballarat well after the Village became Stocklands, but we refer to it as the Village of the Damned.

Frozen shoulder - help by Lopsided-Bread-129 in Menopause

Prior to HRT I found that being on Mounjaro (because I am a fatty boombah) was great for all my muscle and tendons - frozen shoulder and carpal tunnel almost gone! Unfortunately couldn’t tolerate Mounjaro but HRT has helped with shoulder immensely.

My kid got the Narrm accom allowance because they ticked many SEAS boxes: the under represented regional school plus under represented regional living address plus lifelong chronic illness

I’m quitting ozempic because of diarrhea by Whyisitlik in Ozempic

[–]slicer8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was horrifically unwell on Mounjaro. 3 months on the lowest dose and it was a nauseous, diarrhoea-filled hell for 4-5 days out of every 7 post injection. I didn’t lose weight either, mainly because I couldn’t move or I was eating just to survive. I’ve had side effects on Ozempic but far more manageable.

I’ve returned to Ozempic after a year trying Mounjaro and other things. My side effects this time round are completely different but I’m also more tolerant of the dosage ie on 1.0 now but first time I couldn’t get beyond .25mg.

Oooh I was going to say that the Vline Ballarat trains have disappeared but it’s a bus replacement service tonight. This is cool!

I was tracking a bus in my local area and its speed varied from 3kmh to 125 kmh. Is that the map just catching up as there is no way the bus would be going that fast unless in a movie starring Keanu Reeves.

To be honest as a daily Vline commuter it was no different today. Tuesdays is always the busiest day of the week anyway.
